IIT Delhi Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

IIT Delhi has a great infrastructure. Now, more number of academic buildings are also in construction. There is greenery all over the campus. Classrooms are fitted with Air conditioner, speaker, Mic. Renovation work is also in progress.

I am studying B.Tech in biotechnology and biochemical engineering. Course curriculum is well designed as per trends. We enjoyed a lot when faculties teaches. Professors are quite knowledgeable and research oriented.

Placement quality is excellent. It is better than other campuses. Maximum number of students are placed in good and renowned companies. Approx 90% and above students gets placed in good companies with average package of 14-16 Lakhs.

This Institute values are money and provides us a great knowledge with a lot of exposure.

Campus life is the good one. Institute organize various events, Fests time to time.

Infrastructure : Currently, a new lecture hall complex has been built which has a well-equipped lab, classrooms, and a lounge for self-study. Faculty : The faculty team is knowledgeable and they have a very in-depth knowledge about the topic. I had done many projects with professors and I am satisfied with the help they have given us. Placements : Regarding internship for electrical engineering and power, approximately 50% of the students have got the internship this year. Many of the top recruiters have taken the students from electrical and power like Goldman Sachs, ITC, Citi, PWC, Samsung and Texas. Regarding placements, almost everyone gets it in electrical because they not only get electrical roles but also financing roles as well which involve coding and mathematics. Good-The best part is the prestige associated with IIT. Knowledgeable faculty and decent research environment as compared to other Indian institutes. Placements are almost assured and the campus provides large freedom to the students for all types of activities, students find interest in. Career options open to all are many. The surrounding of South Delhi provides great outing opportunities around. while it does not cost much of the money, and it is very much prestigious college

It has a good education atmosphere along with extra-curricular activities, but doing BTech in electrical is not enough for such activities. There is a lot of competition in electrical for maintaining CGPA. Along with BTech, if we wish to do the preparation of any other examination, it is difficult here.

The competition within IIT Delhi is fierce and situation is mostly stressful. Most students are not interested in whatever they study here and hence feel out of place. There is often a societal burden to excel.

Yes it has quite good infrastructure .Buildings are quite beautiful and also has greenery all over the campus which makes it quite beautiful. LHC is the best of iit Delhi.. As it is quite New and renovated

Professor's are quite knowledgable. Our college has different building for different departments. Also our curriculum is fully up to date. Projects and internship offered by our professor also helps us gain experience

Placement are very good as compared to other colleges .almost all students are placed during campus placements.. The average salary offered is around 15-16 lakhs.. Which is enough for a start and to proceed

The college structure is well maintained as there is so much space for students to do co curricular activities.The classroom,laboratories are well maintened ,in this all the equipments are kept in advance for future use.

The academics part of this college is best as I am pursuing MBA ,the curriculum is so synchronised where students enhance their knowledge from the curriculum and the study here is the best as the professors are so intellectual which update is with new things.

The placement cell helps each and every student to get the placement,they are very cooperative and they organise seminars before the interview round so that students who are lacking in some part ,they can improve in that part.

Wi-fi facility is there throughout the campus . It is completely free , and a huge amount of internet can also be used . The campus is exceptionally good . and classrooms are huge and really provide you with a feeling that you are studying in the college . Some classrooms can accommodate 250-500 students also . Most of the rooms have an accommodation capacity of 100-150 students .

Most of the teachers here are super qualified and are extremely knowledgeable in their respective fields . They are very helpful to students to talk with them and discuss problems . The course curriculum is very challenging and tough.But if we work hard , then it is very easy to get good grades .

Over 90% of students from mechanical department were offered placements in various companies . The average salary package offered was around 8 LPA . The highest salary package offered was maybe around 1.5 crores , and I am not sure , but it could have been around 2 crores also .

Overall , I had a great experience so far in this college .

Yes. The campus we have is amazing. We can feel a very pleasant atmosphere here. We have practical sessions very exciting bcoz of the labs there. We have a very big library and also sport rooms. Free wifi is provided in hostel rooms. Everything here is well maintained.They all are used and well maintained. Food is also hygienic.

I'm studying MBA here. The faculty here are very well versed with teaching and they maintain a friendly relationship with the students. We have a very good curriculum that includes all the recent developments. They conduct lectures, workshops, guest lectures etc .

The placement value here is admirable. As everyone dream is to get a good placement, so here approximately 85%students got placed. The higest package was 22lakhs per anum and the average salary was approximately 4.5L. The process was easy and pleasant and the college supported a lot

Our college costed some 85,000 as the tution fee and 65,000 as the hostel fee. And the Placement offered and teaching here and the infrastructure was all worth it. I feel the people here won't regret for their decision.

Here you'ld having different events taking place all over. You'ld having various cells such as exam cell, communication cell etc. You'll also have some clubs to effective interaction and for those who have a problem with any would be solved. All the students, seniors and faculty are welcoming anytime to discuss any issues of students. This could handle any emergencies.

The biggest thing that I've learnt here was making good friends and this gave me a platform for developing me from who I was and who I am now. So I definitely feel having choosing this over many.

The college is very very good in terms of infrastructure. The campus is very big and have almost everything. The library is very big and have latest edition of all the books. The campus is wifi equiped and have a good speed.

The academic of the college is good. The teachers are highly educated and experienced. They can clear any of your doubts. I am studying computer science in IIT Delhi and the course includes all the recent developments and technology

The placement cell of IIT Delhi is highly active they always bring all the top companies to the college. They also try to make us get placed in these companies. The highest placement of the college is 1.17 crores per annum.

The college is really value for money. The fees is 70 thousand per month

The college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. All the class rooms has digital boards and a projector. We have a central library and digital library. A separate play ground for all sports is available. We have free WiFi in the campus with high speed. The students make use of all the facilities in the campus. We have a lush green campus and the food in the cafeteria is healthy and hygienic. The campus has it's own well maintained hostel.

I'm studying in B.Tech third year in computer science department. I choose CSE because I was interested in programming, coding and decoding. Also the CSE department has the record for highest placements. The quality of teaching is very high here. We students are taught in an daily life application process. The curriculum keeps updating as per the requirements in the field and technology. The students in the University are job ready.

Being an IIT institute we have very good quality placement in the University. We have a 100% placement track record. The highest package came to the CSE department with a whooping 48 lakhs package. The average salary offered here is approximately 8 lakhs. The placements process was very easy and pleasant because the students are very well trained for placements.
