    Review of JNU

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

We have every facilities here. The WiFi speed is very good. All campus buildings are in good conditions. Laboratories are arranged with high quality equipments. Hostel buildings are good. Living space is clean.

    Academics

Teachings are good, professors put their full efforts to makes us understand the concept. They teach very well and he'll students to learn new things and gain more knowledge. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.

    Placements

Placements in many courses are not so motivating. In my course the placement are just okay. Well for many courses placement rate are high. Almost many students placed from JNU. The process is easy ,and the College is supportive.

My academic experience has been good with little adjustments

    College Infrastructure

JNU is highly self sufficient and fully equipped when it comes to academics and research. They provide every possible facility that a student needs for their research work. It has 24X6 library facility except on Sunday, and this is a central library. Every center also has its own library, own reading room where students can come and study anytime. WiFi works efficiently. There are around 21 hostels with basic necessary facilities. Food is good.

    Academics

I can tell about CHS. Excellent academic experience. Meticulously delivered lectures by eminent professors, interactive group discussion once a week, a paper submission on every ten day, numerous talks, etc. Though the schedule gets too regressive but you will enjoy doing it. Professors will make you fall in love with your course.

    Placements

No idea on this as far as center of historical studies is concerned. However, people from SIS do get placements. Students generally go either for further research work or aim for NET for professorship.

    Value for Money

This university enlighten you far more than you pay in terms of money. Fees though have got increased now a bit but still it not as much expensive as in other social science universities. However, please visit the official website of the university for info. On fee structure.

    Academics

I am studying political science. I am part of MA program. Centre for Political studies has one of the best teachers in India so I can say that it has great academic experience reputations. Our curriculum include all kinds of recent developments in discipline. We mostly work with focuse on post colonial countries.

    Placements

We are from social sciences so there is no such thing as placement but a huge chunk of students do get chance to go abroad and then for further studies. And also after completing therre studies in the university they usually have a got job in Indian cinema bureaucracy, central university, etc.

    Value for Money

It is subsidized by central government so we have very less tution fee to hostel expenditures. We get more than we pay.

    Campus Life

It is one of the best campuses in the India according to my observation and experience. It has very peaceful environment and have good people. It has greenery environment which include animal like neel gai, peocock, etc.

Have a question related to JNU Delhi ?

Is JNU or Delhi university good for doing MPH?

    Hello,

Yes, both JNU and Delhi University are good options for pursuing an MPH (Master of Public Health). However, JNU has a more research-oriented and global approach, while Delhi University offers strong academics with good public health exposure.

Admission is usually based on CUET-PG or university entrance tests.

    Hope you understand.

Hi I am Shimpli of class 12 I want to do BA in French for interpritation for that how much marks I have to score in CUET as SC...Subject I have to choose in CUET how should I study GAT for that to get addmision in JNU

Hi Shimpli! To pursue BA in French (Interpretation) at JNU through CUET, you should aim for a good percentile above 75 to 80% as SC category cutoffs are usually lower than general, but still competitive. In CUET, you will need to choose a language test (French, if offered, or English), plus subjects like General Test . For GAT, focus on reasoning, general knowledge, current affairs, and basic math. Regular practice with sample papers and previous year CUET papers will help you improve speed and accuracy. With consistent study, you’ll have a good chance of admission.

I had my jee results which was 81.69 percentile.Gen EWS male, home state Andhra pradesh.Do I get ECE seat in JMI or AMU or NIT HAMIRPUR or jnu.

With 81.69 percentile in JEE Main under the General EWS category, getting ECE in JMI, AMU, JNU, or NIT Hamirpur would be quite difficult. For these institutes, the cutoff for ECE usually stays higher, often above 90–95 percentile for EWS candidates. JMI and AMU tend to have competitive cutoffs because of limited seats, while JNU and NIT Hamirpur also require a higher percentile. However, you still have good chances in other NITs, IIITs, or state-level colleges where the cutoff percentile is comparatively lower.
