Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi offers more than 170 courses to its students across the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. JNU offers 14 courses at the UG level, 100 courses at the PG level and a total of 65 courses at the doctoral level. Some of the streams to which JNU courses are offered are Computer Application and IT, Sciences, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Commerce, Engineering and Architecture, and others.
JNU New Delhi UG courses are B.Tech and B.A. Hons in different specialisations. Whereas, JNU New Delhi PG courses include M.A., M.Sc, M.Tech, M.C.A., M.P.H. and Post Graduate Diploma programmes. The university also offers various certificate programmes under different schools and faculties. JNU fees for M.A. programmes are Rs. 658 only. Similarly, JNU BA Hons fees are Rs. 982. The university offers various courses in different specialisations. JNU BA Hons course is available in a total of ten specialisations of language programmes including BA German Hons, BA Chinese Hons, BA Russian Hons and BA French Hons. Similarly, JNU MA courses are provided in more than twenty-five domains including MA Economics, MA International Relations and Area Studies, MA Politics with Specialization in International Studies, MA English and MA Philosophy.

Jawaharlal Nehru University which is situated in new Delhi the capital of India known for its excellence of infrastructure and the it's academic curriculum.The campus is very beautiful with all the facilities available like wi fi ,A library as well as a garden.
College was quite good.
College Infrastructure
The infrastructure is pretty good compared to other government colleges in the city. Laboratories are built with almost new technology. There is a Wi-Fi facility for students. Computers are accessible for students during working hours. Library also provided updated books. We got lots of facilities but quality of food was not good enough other than that other facilities like grounds are made for different types of sports which are practiced there and there is also canteen where you get many essential eating items the medical facilities were good.
JNU is one of the best experience in life

college boasts high-class infrastructure with ac classrooms, career services, and hostels. facilities include well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and sports centers. maintenance status is very well and cleanliness is excellent campus.

For phD Course in JNU 2023 , the last date of application was december 8, 2023. The exam will be held in may 2024.
Now application forms for phD will be released in December 2024 for which enteanxe exam will be held in April or May 2025.
Admission procedure for phD in political science in Hawaharksl Nehru university for the year 2024 is as follows
Eligibility-
The candidate must be of 21 years old ( minimum), the candidate must have secured minimum 55 % marks in master's Course, If you want to pursue phD in political science then you must have master's degree in political science with 55% .
Entrance exam -
There will be held a written test ,
The candidate must obtain following marks out of 70 in written test of doctorate studies to be invited to viva voce Examination.
- 35 % marks ie 24.50 marks out of 70 ,general category candidate
- For obc candidate it is mandatory to get 31.5% marks ie 22.05 marks out of 70
- Sc/ st category students should get 25% marks
The candidates will give through final selection on the basis of merit in their respective categories
as measured by their performances.
- Through out written exam
- Viva voce
No applicant will be eligible for admission to phD programmes unless He or she will not achieve the following minimum overall score
- General category- 30%
- Obc - 27 %
