Along with it, the learners will also learn about the procedure of atomic level construction of surfaces from the bulk crystals as well as the nomenclature for different surfaces. The students also explore concepts such as various interfaces, metal-semiconductor, metal-molecule, like metal-metal, etc. 

The duration of the course is eight weeks. The course is taught online via lectures, books, references, videos, etc. After completing the ‘Chemistry and Physics of Surfaces and Interfaces’  certification course, the students can gain a digital certificate along with credit points.
