IITRAM Ahmedabad Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

Our college has all necessary infrastructure such as open air theater, nice classrooms, hi tech labs. reading room as well as average wifi. Transportation facility is good as institute is in a prime location. PG as well as hostel is nearby and having all basic facilities including a common room to watch IPL as well as other shows.

Power system, power electronics, Microprocessor, engineering ethics are some of the basic subjects in electrical engineering studied here. FACTS is an advanced subject in power systems which I liked very much. Electrical faculties try their best to imbibe knowledge in students. GUJCOST recently inaugurated a control systems lab consisting of smart home, PCB design as well as drone based projects.

I am planning for research so did not sit for placements, but other students tell me they are not getting placed this year. Campus placement officer is not able to attract major companies and all one gets are chances in off-campus jobs.

College has sports, academics, lab sessions as well as cultural events in the right proportion. Library, mess, two hostels as well as ventilated classrooms. Library internet speed is a bit slow. Reading room is a nice place for doing project work.

Our HOD is a really nice person. He motivates us for startup and innovation. SSIP cell was incubated by mechanical department. Our labs are hi-tech related to Manufacturing, Machine design as well as CAD/CAM design,

Covid failed to bring placements to college. I did not get a chance to sit in interviews so I dont know interview experience till date. CTS, TCS, Wipro and Torrent group are the only major companies college has visited.

We have library open air theater mess two hostels as well as airy classrooms. Wifi is slow. Reading room is a nice place for writing group assignments. Lab is fully equipped with all latest instruments.

Electrical engineering has all major subjects such as facts, control system, digital system and most importantly final year project. It is of utmost importance in terms of future prospects in your career.

Electrical companies such as tcs, CTS, torrent power were the only companies visited. Hopefully more companies will come in next few months. No companies for mechanical and civil yet. Placement officer is not much cooperative.

College has clean classrooms, building is very airy and it contains many facilities such as library, mess, reading room, open air theatre, and two hostels. Wifi connection Is too poor. It's difficult for downloading heavy documents

HOd department is not co-operative. Faculty is nice but syllabus is not totally updated. We wanted to have more practical knowledge. We have very few practical subjects in civil engineering. Except surveying I don't remember a subject well studied in practical aspects.

Covid has hampered our placement scenario. Civil engineering students did not get a chance for sitting for placements. All companies such as TCS CTS and torrent are all Electrical based companies. Max 5 students got placed.

My college has library, reading room, Open Air Theater, Hygienic mess facility as well. Our college wifi is not of sufficient bandwidth so it becomes difficult to download heavy reference books. Hostel is situated far away from the institute for second, third and fourth year students. It needs displacement.

IITRAM is a UGC based institute so we get to learn all major subjects such as FACTS, Power System, Power Electronics as well as Intelligent Control System methods. Curriculum is diverse and makes a student job ready. Exposure to coding in Python in first semester is a boon. I wished it continued in further semesters too.

COVID has not been able to attract major companies. At the moment, mechanical students haven't even gotten a chance for placements. HCL, Torrent power, TCS, CTS are the only big companies who visited IITRAM till date.

Since, name of the college include "infrastructure" word, thats why there should be no question about that but the reality is otherwise. Which i cannot write in this word limit. So be careful while choosing this college.

Teacher are very good. Most of the teachers are from IIT and their way of teaching is excellent. Student have to face exams, every month. Schedule is so exaustive that ypu will have a feel of 9 to 5 job.

I haven't met with any graduate student who have taken placement from this college bacause it offer 100 % placement with 3 lpa. College is very suppertive for 1st year student not 4th year. If you want to do a 4 year course of unemployent kindly refer to this college.

Waste of money. My school was better than this college with one-tenth of fees taken by college.

If you want to ruin your 4 years, kindly come to this college.

I don't have any word to describe this college

We have reading room, library, cafe, nice faculties, Airy classrooms, open air theatre as well as a small garden for us to play cricket. There is wifi of low bandwidth which is not helping us to download books.

I'm a student of Electrical so power system, FACTS, control system as well as Microprocessor based subjects are studied. Final year BTech project if chosen correct, then you will learn a lot. Faculties are always ready to help.

I'm a placement coordinator of my College. Wipro, TCS, CTS, HCL, Torrent power etc are some of the companies our college has invited till now. Pandemic has affected our campus placements. College keeps on trying to invite as many companies possible.

College has well lit rooms, hi tech laboratories, encouraging faculties, library, a reading room for casual reading and writing lab manuals, OAT (open air theater) for cultural festivals as well as a garden and a small playground to play outdoor games.

I am from electrical engineering so we study control systems, power systems, digital systems, power electronics, VLSI design and the like. Electrical as an infrastructure is a subject taught in both Btech as well as Mtech branches. I find that interesting.

Not many companies visited our college due to COVID. Very few of those got placed and that too, off-campus. Placement process is not as smooth as expected. We are getting to hear webinars of leadership and communication whereas good companies are not interested to offer jobs to students

My gujarat domicile fees were 53K exclusive of mess and hostel fees

Infrastructure is very nice. We have library, reading room, mess, cafeteria and well ventilated classes. Civil engineering faculty is one of the best among the three disciplines we have here. Much exposure is given to startup and innovative ideas.

Civil engineering faculty is highly educated and we study diverse subjects such as Remote Sensing, Geographic Information Systems, Surveying and the like. We recently went to L&T for a site visit. I think site visits should be improved because it is not as frequent as it should be.

COVID 19 affected our placements. Cognizant, TCS, Torrent Gas and Torrent power were few of the companies visited till now. Placement cell is working towards student's welfare but some times it falls short.

College infrastructure is good. Best part is the Open Air Theater. We hangout and spend time during free lectures. Reading room is for doing assignments, homework or lab manuals or simply having fun. Library opens early way before college timings, ideal for silent studying. Sports ground is not there in college but there is a lawn for us to play games.

Mechanical engineering has the best faculty because our HOD has many connections in terms of entrepreneurship and advanced manufacturing. Curriculum is latest and up-to-date. Faculties are supportive and they help us in form of tutorial lectures.

Not good placements. Mechanical companies haven't visited us yet. Electrical and Civil departments cumulative have only 5 companies. College advise us to go for opt campus placements. We are constantly trying on work job sites if we find any opportunity in covid scenario.

I am from Gujarat so my fees were 60K per annum. It is value for money if you dont add hostel and mess fees.
