Quality academics which will mold one in to industry ready

M.Tech Embedded Systems - Batch of 2012-01-01
Academics
Practical oriented learning which will enable the students to become a real doer than just a theory preacher!. All teachers are having very good exposure in the industry and hence great place to learn things.
College Infra
Great infrastructure which will train the student capable to work in industry without much additional trainings. Real hardwires are available in labs for doing the and boards and licenses are available to do almost all labs
Campus Life
NIELIT Calicut is a place where you cant see much show-offs in terms of buildings ...etc. But it is a place for quality in academics. If you need that, go for it. or
Placements
I was able to get 3 campus placements during my second year M-Tech. Definitely the college will make the student industry ready, but efforts from students are also required to approach industry to let them know the skillsets. In my batch 100% of the students were placed. 2012 batch - 18 students.
Value For Money
Do not know the present fee structure. That time it costed around 2 Lakhs altogether. Gate scholarship for the first two years as well as internship payments received from companies will be very well enough to make the payments there.

M.Tech Embedded Systems - Batch of 2008-01-01
Academics
Knowledgeful Staff with many having industrial experience.
Most of the things were covered. Syllabus was good and up to date.
Could clear many recruitment tests with help of knowledge gained from here.
In addition to staff, students helped each other to learn technical and non technical skills.
College Infra
Good lab facilities with knowledgeful support staff. Unique style building, good library. Projectors in class room which has got updated to smart boards later.
Not much place and time for sports. Hostel was around 1 Km away.
Campus Life
It was quiet and green, far from city.
Placements
Almost all from our batch got placed and most are in good position now.
A few companies were recruiting through college. Many got placed through it.
Rest of the people got internship though off campus interviews.
Value For Money
Had GATE scholarship, not much to pay extra.

The teaching quality is excellent with a strong focus on practical applications the curriculum is well structured covering both fundamentals and recent advancements ensuring students are industry ready

Good infrastructure with very good labs, also has better smart classes has very resourceful libraries The hygiene is of top class each and every part of the college is cleaned every day has a good wifi and very good hostels

Placements
the placements are in top notch considering the recession period many of the alumnis are working in the core companies with high paying salary also for both es and edt the placements were of the same
