As the institute is very old, the infrastructure is very old: small classrooms, a lack of technology, no smart classes, no advanced labs, old labs with sufficient technician, lack of types of equipment, etc. But in this regard, new buildings are being constructed and slowly, things are getting better.

Teachers are helpful. They always help us with our studies. Our institute is a deemed university, and it is easy and convenient to get from our respective course coordinators regarding subject and exam matters. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready, as it is well-prepared by UGC. Semester exams are moderate. Students can pass if they study a few days before exams. The pass percentage is 90%.

In NERIST there is good placement. The maximum placement was 22 LPA. Every year, there are many placements of every branch. This college has a decent placement record, with a significant percentage of students being placed at various companies. It is a good college in the north-east region.

Placement in North eastern regional institute of science and technology is quite good they provide us placement assistant and try to place us in jobs the average packages around 4 lakh and highest packages around 6 lakh

The campus of North eastern regional institute of science and technology is located near highway which make student easy to travel everyday without any travel and it is a safe campus also it's ragging free

Infrastructure is good I personally don’t have any complaints however it’s obviously not good compared to many premium institutes of the country but not very bad so you won’t really have much complaints

All good in this department . Teachers are good you won’t have an issue ,don’t depend on them highly though do your self study and ask for help if you feel stuck ,you have to be self seeking in this college

Placements are quite decent however get internship experience so that you’re not too dependent on the college to place you and don’t depend on them too much as it might not be very dependable gain experience

It’s value for money as academics infrastructure campus and everything is quite decent you won’t regret joining the college and will have a decent experience ,however focus on developing your personality that’s what matters

Campus life is good eating joints are there you can roam around anywhere even go out there are many hanging spots that you’ll explore yourself once you join it’s worth it overall ,it’s worth a good time

My college is one of the earliest institute to have a library. The college library is one of our most significant asset, which has an online cataloguing system that provide access to library resource. Our library has an impressive collection of books and journal going back to 18th centuary. It houses various humanities and science journal of interest for many students The college aims for all round development of the students.

I have completed my Masters from this institute and the college provides good education and quality of teaching is updated and it includes all the practical labs which makes our study easy and practical.

The college offers some placement for the students. The quality of education is good and the college provide help to the students they provide carrier orientation programmes for the newbies to learn and to make further future plans. The salary package offered were approx 10-12 lakhs anually.

I paid around 5.5k per year and compared to the facilities provided by the college it was absolutely value for money. I got a placement doing my dream job, earning and everyday learning something new because of the quality of education i got from my college.

The college is located at the heart of the kanpur city near bara chauraha and the campus is big airy and contain its own canteeen and a obviously a beautiful garden the worst thing is the chemistry lab which is kind of old damaged structure, still the the teacher and the other staff make the college beautiful.

Amazing college to be in and to learn amazing things just go for it if you are planning to take admission. My own experience was amazing there were a lot of memories that make me feel happy.

Infrastructure are very good. Such as classroom, department , Administration building, laboratories, play ground, Hostels, roadways, Gym, water facilities, internet supplies, Mess, transportation, library, Hospital, etc are well functional and good one

I was doing Master of science in mathematics because of my interest in mathematics and about teaching quality I would say overall good. And about the syllabus it's updated and it's matched as per the CSIR NET.

Placement is one of the best quality of this University that it provides good opportunities to the students graduated from this University. Lot of students are in job in the respected areas and about the salary i don't have much idea about it.

Being in a middle class family, sometimes it difficult to gather the admission fees. Including mess fees and admission it took 40k around. Overall I feel that my money 's worth.

About the campus I would say it is the best campus , it provides security, safety and unity. Different people around the Northeast come and stay here. It's also culturally benefit to the students.

Having the fact that its a 36 year old college, some buildings in the campus needs to be renovated. But the new buildings has all the essential facilities. In the new academic block, the classrooms are well equipped. The Central Library has all our books which is needed for the entire sem. Some of the laboratories need renovations and upgrade the equipments used. Gym, Football ground, Busketball and Badminton Courts, indoor stadium are provided to us. The living spaces, food hygienic are fine.

I am pursuing my B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. We are provided with quality education and regular classes are being held. Extra classes are also conducted if necessary. We need to complete certain training and Internships so as to get our degree, which helps us in Job interviews. Even during this Pandemic, we are able to attend our classes and also our exams are being conducted through online platforms.

The placements are improving quite well. Some campus visiting companies include ONGC, Indian Oil, Power Grid, and other IT companies. The placement process is quite simple and the college provides full support to the students. Around 33% of the students get placed and the other go for further studies.

We pay a very less amount as our academic fees and the education we get here is not less than any other colleges in the country.

College Life at NERIST is quite good. The campus is spread in both the sides of the highway. The road from the main gate is filled with beautiful trees on both the sides. The students and teachers reside in the same campus and are totally safe.

College Life in NERIST is one of the best experience of my life and i really mean it.

Yes, the college have provided us with good facilities as well as equipments but the quality of maintenance is not good. Periodic maintenance is necessary but sometimes it does not work as per our expectations. However, the quality of teaching is good , students ar very active and cooperation of faculties and students are really appreciable. Library is well maintained and wifi facilities are good. Moreover the quality of food is good as compared to my previous hostel life.

Currently I am a 3rd year student of BSc. Forestry. I have chosen this branch because I think in our north east there is a good provision as well as opportunities for foresters. The quality of teaching is good.

The placement for UG is quite good. So far, there is no placement for PG except for those who are doing MBA. I have heard of some renowned companies coming for campusing but have no idea about the highest salary package that has been offered so far.

The money that I pay per semester is quite worthy. This is because of the quality of food, transport facilities , The quality of education etc, are good enough to balance the money that I pay per sem. Moreover it's a centrally funded institute so the fee structure is quite minimal.

Our campus is full of greenery. We can view mountains from our windows. We have all the necessary facilities like medical , grocery , canteens inside our campus. The atmosphere is very pleasant and we have enough space to practice whatever we want to. The teaching and the non teaching staff are very helpful and the relationship between then and the students is very warm and friendly. Overall it fulfill all the basic categories other than the maintenance.

Whatever I said above are all that I have experienced during these one year of journey that I have lived so far and I am going to cherish it for the rest my life. Although the period I have spent here is just One year but these memories as well as the knowledge that I have achieved from this institute will last forever.

I have chosen this branch because l think in our north east, there is a good provision as well as opportunities for civil engineers. In my masters, l am doing the specialization in geotechnical engineering because soil stabilization is a very sensitive and necessary field that we must aware of. I am finding it very interesting to know the mechanism of soil and foundation engineering. The quality of teaching is good.
