Yes, the college have provided us with good facilities as well as equipments but the quality of maintenance is not that good. Periodic maintenance is very necessary but sometimes, it dosen't work as per our expectations. However, the quality of teaching is good, students are very active and cooperation of faculties and students are really appreciable. Library is well maintained and the wifi facilities are good. Moreover, the quality of food is good as compared to my previous hostel life.
Currently l am a final year student of Mtech in geotechnical engineering. I have chosen this branch because l think in our north east, there is a good provision as well as opportunities for civil engineers. In my masters, l am doing the specialization in geotechnical engineering because soil stabilization is a very sensitive and necessary field that we must aware of. I am finding it very interesting to know the mechanism of soil and foundation engineering. The quality of teaching is good.
The placements for UG is quite good. So far, there is no placement for PG expect for those who are doing MBA. I have heard of some renowned companies coming for campusing but have no idea about the highest salary package that has been offered so far.
The money that l pay per semester is quite worthy. This is because the quality of food, the transport facilities, the quality of education etc, are good enough to balance the money that l pay per sem. Moreover, it is a centrally funded institute, so the fee structure is quite mininal.
Our campus is full of greenery. We can view mountains from our windows. We have all the necessary facilities like medical, groceries, canteens inside our campus. The atmosphere is very pleasant and we have enough space to practice whatever we want to. We even have gym in our girl's hostel. The teaching and the non-teaching staff are very helpful and the relationship between them and the students is very warm and friendly. Overall, it fullfill all the basic categories other than the maintenance.
Whatever l said above are all that l have experienced during these two years of journey. I must say it is a beautiful journey that l have lived so far and l am going to cherish it for the rest of my life. Although the period l have spent here is just two years but these memories as well as the knowledge that l have achieved from this institute will last forever.

Hope it helps you !!
Thanking you
Hi, it is recommended that you first choose your branch. Looking at the pattern and future opportunities in both the branches there is minimal difference between them. IT is all software based and CSE is Software, Hardware and OS core based. Coming to colleges. NEHU has larger space and better infrastructure. Also NIRF ranking is around 82. So, NEHU is better. You can compare your colleges as well as the branches on the link given below. Hope this helps.
