Hey,

Yes, for BTech CSE you must pass Physics because engineering courses require PCM eligibility. Even if your overall result says “Pass,” a compartment/RT in Physics can still make you ineligible during university document verification.

So the safest and most important thing is to clear the Physics supplementary/compartment exam first.
