The Admission Procedure is based on the Entrance test.

Selection of candidates for admission shall be made strictly based on the comparative statement of merit list as given by the Directorate of University and Higher Education, Government of Manipur.

The candidate should have passed in XII or equivalent from a recognized Board with a minimum of 50% in aggregate and with the following conditions if an applicant wishes to take up Honours subject:

a)   45% in the subject in which one desires to take up Honours.

b)   45% in Biology to take up Honours in Botany or Zoology.

c)   45% in the aggregate to take up honours in a subject not available at the + 2 or equivalent level.

A person who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with science stream or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
