The candidate should have passed in XII or equivalent from a recognized Board with a minimum of 50% in aggregate and with the following conditions if an applicant wishes to take up Honours subject:

a)   45% in the subject in which one desires to take up Honours.

b)   45% in Biology to take up Honours in Botany or Zoology.

c)   45% in the aggregate to take up honours in a subject not available at the + 2 or equivalent level.

The Candidate must have passed with a minimum of 45% marks in the subject for which Honours is sought, in the qualifying exam at the 10+2 level.
