Final Selection
Candidates from all categories shortlisted based on the composite score shall be called for a Written Ability Test(WAT) and Personal Interview(PI) to a given location
The final selection will be based on the following with due weights to each of the components:
IBSAT is an online aptitude test conducted by The ICFAI Foundation For Higher Education (a deemed to be a University under Section 3 of UGC act 1956), for students seeking admission to the MBA / PhD programs of IBS Bengaluru and IBS Hyderabad.
IBSAT is a computer-based test (CBT) that consists of multiple-choice questions. IBSAT is of 2 hours duration and is aimed at testing the applicant's ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.
GMATTM/ NMAT by GMACTM/CAT/XAT scores (from 2024 onwards) are also accepted in place of IBSAT 2026. Candidates with GMATTM, NMAT by GMACTM CAT and XAT scores are exempted from IBSAT 2026.
IBS Admissions are open through CAT/NMAT by GMAC™/XAT/GMAT™ scores only.

The ICFAI University, Dehradun, The ICFAI University, Jaipur and The Icfaian Foundation accept IBSAT 2026 / GMATTM/ NMAT by GMACTM/CAT/XAT scores (from 2024 onwards) for admission to the following programs:
Candidates who have qualified based on IBSAT 2025/ GMATTM /NMAT by GMACTM/CAT/XAT score are called for the selection process.
This process is scheduled to take place from February 2027, at the IBS Hyderabad campus in Hyderabad.
The selection process comprises of Micro Presentation and Personal Interview.
The Micro-Presentation component aims to provide a focused assessment of a candidate's communication and presentation skills, along with their ability to think and organize thoughts quickly.
