• The B.Ed. Course admission shall be through a Combined/Common Entrance Test for B.Ed. (CET-B.Ed.) for all B.Ed. Colleges affiliated with the State Universities of Bihar.
• The CET-B.Ed. will be conducted by a State University of Bihar selected by the Governor's Secretariat each year for this purpose.

The admission is based on Teacher Eligibility Test (BTET-Paper 2 and STET). Qualified untrained candidates will be given preference.

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/humanity, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks, or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.

• The Candidates with at least fifty percent (50 %) marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree under the disciplines of Arts, Science, Commerce, Home Science, Agriculture, Computer, Information Technology, and Engineering of the Statutory Universities, Agriculture Universities, Open Universities or Deemed Universities or any other qualification equivalent thereto, will be eligible for seeking admission to B.Ed. Course.
• The reservation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories shall be as per the rules followed/ applicable by the Government of Bihar.
