The Candidate should Passed 10th Std./ SSC examination. Obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
Qualification: Matriculation (10th) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/ University with Mathematics and Science (Physics, Chemistry or both) with minimum aggregate 50% marks (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates/ Physically handicapped). Candidates awaiting results of the 10th class can also appear for the written test, but the result should be available at the time of admission.
Age: Between 15 to 19 years (22 years for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Physically handicapped candidates). Once the date on which the age of candidates is counted for determining their eligibility is fixed and notified, it shall not be changed even If the date of starting the course is advanced or deferred for any reason whatsoever.
