A Candidate must have Rank holders in JEE or any other entrance examination as laid down by the Act of the University with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in the following subjects. Compulsory subjects: Maths & Physics. Any of these subjects: Chemistry & Computer science/Biochemistry/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects.
The Candidate Passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
