Students must have passed Class 10th or Equivalent Examinations with English, Physical Science/Science, and Mathematics among other subjects, securing at least 35% marks (without rounding up) in aggregate as per AICTE norms, excluding the marks of the subjects taken as additional.
For LATERAL ENTRY- minimum 10+2 Vocational or 2 years ITI (passed out) course trainees can take admission through the VOCLET Entrance Examination conducted by WBSCT & VE & SD, Kolkata.
The candidate must have passed the Secondary (10th Standard) Examination with English, Physical Science / Science, and Mathematics, among others, as subjects, securing at least 35% marks (without rounding up) in aggregate, excluding the marks of the additional subject. The candidates appearing in the Secondary (10th Standard) Examination may also apply. However, confirming that the benchmark of 35% marks (without rounding up) in aggregate, excluding the marks of the additional subject, is a must, failing which candidature is liable to be canceled even after selection in JEXPO. or any JEXPO- valid rank with 35% marks in aggregate.
Lateral Entry: The candidate must have passed the (10+2) Examination of the West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education and Training / NCVT or have passed 2 years ITI or have Passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology subject from recognized Board / Council / Institute, failing which candidature is liable to be canceled even after selection in VOCLET.
