(a) The candidate shall have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and have obtained a minimum of fifty percent. marks are taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the case of the general category and forty percent. marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes: Provided that in respect of persons with disability candidate specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum qualifying marks in the said examinations shall be forty-five percent. in the case of General category and forty percent. in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.
(b) No candidate shall be admitted to the B.A.M.S Degree program unless the candidate attained the age of seventeen years on or before the 31st December of the year of admission in the first year of the program and not more than twenty-five years on the 31st December of the year of admission in the first year of the program: Provided that, the upper age limit may be relaxed by five years in the case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and disabled candidates.
Candidates who have passed P.U.C. or 10 + 2 years Basic Education with physics, chemistry, biology, and science subjects with a minimum of 50% marks. (40% in the case of SC/ST candidates).
