Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship Agriculture stream (for Agriculture Engineering) Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken togetherORPassed min. 3 years Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. (The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the programme).

Passed Minimum Three years/Two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in Any branch of Engineering and Technology.ORPassed B.Sc. Degree from a recognised University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.ORPassed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector. (The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing etc, for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the programme)
The Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (std.. XII) examination from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects such as Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject added together and secured minimum 50% marks. Should have 150 marks out of 300 marks [135 marks (i.e., 45%) in case of candidates belonging to backward class categories from Maharashtra State] in subjects such as Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry / Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject added together. Obtained Score in JEE Main Paper - I or in CET conducted by the competent Authority OR Diploma holders who have passed the Diploma courses in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case the candidate belongs to Backward Class or Candidates with disability from Maharashtra State) OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognized University as defined by the University Grants Commission and obtained at least 50% marks(at least 45% in case of Backward class categories with disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed XII Standard with Mathematics as a Subject.
