A candidate who has passed a Bachelor's degree of 3 years duration (B.Sc. or equivalent) under the 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.
A Bachelor's degree from a University established by law in India, with the subject of study for M.Sc.as one of the subjects, with a minimum of 48 credits in Major subject, 48 credits in two minor subjects,9 credits in compulsory, 1 credit in GI & Hobby with an aggregate of 106 credits/132 credits under the new system for the award of pass degree OR a Bachelor's degree with II Division or with at least 45% marks(40% in case of SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in the subject concerned in three years of degree or Honours in the subject concerned. In the case of Physics, the candidate must have passed B.Sc. with Mathematics as an elective subject.
