Candidates seeking BE. Admission 2021 in the best engineering colleges in Maharashtra should have passed the class XII examination (10+2) from a recognized university in India with a minimum of 45% and 40% for the General and Reserved category (belonging to Maharashtra State) respectively. Candidates should have Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects along with one or more of the following Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical/Vocational subjects.
Candidates seeking admission to BE Direct Second Year in the best engineering college in Nagpur, GHRIET should have passed a diploma course in engineering or technology with a minimum of 45% and 40% marks for the General and Reserved category (belonging to Maharashtra State), respectively.
A) Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate and outside Maharashtra State Candidate for admission to FIRST YEAR of degree courses in Engineering & Technology.
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology Biology or Technical Vocational subjects or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2024 and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2024.
OR
(ii) Passed a minimum 3-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Sections, and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) (for more details Refer Information Brochure on below mentioned website)
B) Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate and outside Maharashtra State Candidate for admission to DIRECT SECOND YEAR of degree courses in Engineering & Technology. 26
(1) For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidate, - (i) The Candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed minimum three years or two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of Candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) in any branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent;
Or
(ii) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section, and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) and passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as a subject; or (ii) Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector ( refer Schedule III);
