Colleges

• 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology/ Computer Science (IT).At least 55% marks in the above three subjects taken together.
• The Candidate must have passed English as a subject in 10+2 Examination. Merit in University Entrance Exam(Q-CARE), IITJEE (Mains), State Level Entrance Exams shall be given preference.

B. Tech Candidates must have passed the intermediate exam without any grace marks of U.P. Board or 10+2 level exam or its equivalent from any recognized Board with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject; and any one of Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/Biology/ Technical Vocational as an optional subject. 

Lateral Entry in Second Year- Candidates must have passed three-year Engineering Diploma in any branch of engineering (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy and Architecture) or three-year B.Sc. degree plus having passed 10+2 exam with mathematics as one subject.
