Candidates are admitted based on their performance in their HSC (+2) examination/ qualifying examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu state Government and through counseling (TNEA) conducted by Anna university, Chennai. Candidates intending to avail Management Quota seats may come in person to the college campus (as per the Government norms).

Minimum educational qualification should be 10+2 and should possess a minimum 50% of the mark in his/her studies as per the norms of Anna University. Candidates should have studied mathematics as one of the subjects in their Higher Secondary level.
