Candidates are admitted based on their performance in their HSC (+2) examination/ qualifying examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu state Government and through counseling (TNEA) conducted by Anna university, Chennai. Candidates intending to avail Management Quota seats may come in person to the college campus (as per the Government norms).

Pass with Minimum average marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together: General Category-45%, Backward Class including Backward Class Muslim-40%, MBC & DNC-40%, SC/SCA/ST-40%
