No candidate shall be allowed to be admitted to the nursing curriculum of the first year of the B.Sc. Nursing course until or otherwise. • He / She has completed the age of 17 years but not completed 28 years in the case of females & 25 years in the case of males, as on 31st December of the academic year. • He / She has passed a qualifying examination as under:• The senior secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to a 10+2 examination after a period of 12 years of study, the last two years of the study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or any other elective subject with English as a compulsory subject (English at a level not less than the core course or English as prescribed by the NCERT).
1. For admission to a B. Sc. (Nursing) course, the candidate should have passed the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually and must have obtained 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English taken together at the qualifying examination, i.e., H.S.C./10+2.
2. The candidate seeking admission to these courses should be an Indian national and should have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission.
