The Candidate should have (10+2) Level Marks obtained from the Board recognized by the University of Calcutta:   At least 45% marks in the best four subjects. (Excluding compulsory Environmental Studies of WBCHSE). SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PERSON WITH DISABILITY (Disability 40% or more): At least 40% marks in the best four subjects. (Excluding compulsory Environmental Studies of WBCHSE). 

• Seeking admission into a 5-year law course only the 10th and 12th qualification suffices with the 10th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into the 5-year law course.
• The qualifications for 10th and 12th may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method).
• The Pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for the SC/ST category.
