The candidate should have passed 10+2 with science stream (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) or equivalent from recognized board.
For Lateral Entry: The students will be required to register as per the schedule notified by MRSPTU/ Institute. The seats to be filled in this category are 20% of sanctioned seats for 1st-year admissions. In addition to this, the resultant vacant seats of 1 year of B.Tech admitted in session 2016-2017 shall also be filled on the inter merit of qualifying marks. Various guidelines regarding and general information given above in section 6.02 are also applicable to B.Tech. (Lateral Entry).
All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination from a board recognized or established by central/state government through legislation with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:- 1. Chemistry 2. Biotechnology 3. Computer Science 4. Biology
