1st Year Entry: Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocation subjects. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
2nd Year Entry: Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE-approved Institution OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category ) in an appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology. B.Sc. Stream students should have passed the XII standard with mathematics as a subject.
The candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class / Qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class / qualifying examination.
