Candidate shall have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) with 50% marks as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
The Candidates aspiring to join the B. Pharm. course are required to appear in the combined entrance test (UPCET) conducted by the central admission board, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (formerly U.P. Technical University, Lucknow). Admission to the institute is made on the basis of merit, and position obtained in this exam. Some seats are reserved for NRI /Management quota, as per the norms of U.P. Govt. Lateral Entry in B. Pharm. 2nd Year - 3rd Semester: A candidate who has passed a diploma in pharmacy with at least 60% marks from institutions recognized by the U.P. Board of Technical Education is eligible to take admission in B. Pharm. Second Year.
