A) First-Year Engineering (F.E.)

• For Maharashtra & Outside Maharashtra Candidates Candidate must be an Indian National and must have passed the H.S.C. (Std. XII) or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnolog,y Biology, or Technical Vocational subjects
  AND
• Obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of backward class categories & persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together.
  OR
• Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of backward class categories and Persons with disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only
  OR
• Passed B.Sc Degree from a Recognized University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 45% Marks (at least 40% Marks case of backward class categories and Persons with disabilities belonging to Maharashtra State only);
  OR
• Obtained score in MHT-CET 2023 or JEE Main Paper conducted by the Competent Authority
  B) Direct Second Year Engineering (DSE)
• For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidate, -
• The Candidate should be an Indian National.
• Passed a minimum of three years or two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of Candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section, and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) in any branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent;
  OR
• Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section, and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) and passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as a subject;
  OR
• Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.
• Any other criterion is declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
