The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U.P.Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to the first year of different courses shall be as follows:-Compulsory Subjects: Physics and MathematicsOptional Subjects (Any one of the following Subjects) – Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
For admission to the first year of B.Tech candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University and securing a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) without grace in required each compulsory subjects and one optional subject taken together as given above.
Eligibility: For admission to the First Year of B.Tech., the candidate must have passed without grace, intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University securing 45% for GEN and OBC & 40% marks for SC/ST category candidates without grace in required subjects. Candidates are required to appear in the State Entrance Examination (SEE), conducted by U.P Technical University, Lucknow, or All India Engineering Entrance Examination (JEE Main), conducted by CBSE.
Lateral Entry: For admission to the Second year (lateral entry) of B.Tech. The candidate must have passed three years diploma in Engineering course; securing a minimum of 45% for General and OBC (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) marks in aggregate or Three years degree and passed 12th standard with mathematics as one subject securing minimum 45% for General and OBC (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) marks in aggregate in B.Sc.
