• The Candidate should be an Indian National.
• Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business studies and obtained at least 45% marks (Open Category) and 40% marks in case of Backward categories, Economically weaker section and Persons with Disability category candidates, in the above subjects taken together.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics & Mathematics AND one of the subject from the following:

Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology / Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship. ‌

Obtained at least 60% marks (55% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. ‌

In addition to this, the applicant must have qualified at least one engineering entrance examination like MHT-CET 2026/JEE 2026 /Other State or National Level Engineering Entrance Exam of 2026  / PERA 2026 / CUET 2026  or Entrance Test Conducted by PCU

Pimpri Chinchwad University (PCU), Pune accepts SAT scores conducted by the College Board for admissions to all undergraduate (UG) programmes. Undergraduate aspirants can apply online using their SAT scores (Score Send Code: 67010) ‌

Candidates are selected based on entrance test score and merit. ‌

Lateral Entry:

Passed minimum 3 years / 2 years (Lateral Entry) Diploma Examination with at least 60% marks (55% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in any Branch of Engineering and Technology.
OR
Passed B.Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 60% marks (55% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.

Candidates are selected based on entrance test score AND on merit subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. ‌
