First Year

•    Candidates seeking admission to 04 yrs B. Tech program must have passed 10+2 (or its equivalent) examination from a recognized Board/ University.

Or

•    Candidates appearing for +2 examination or awaiting their results are also eligible to apply. Their candidature, however, shall be considered, subject to their clearing the qualifying examination.

•    Passed 10+2 in science stream with a minimum of 45% marks for Gen/OBC candidates and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates is required. The compulsory subjects are Physics & Mathematics and one subject Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Biology.

Lateral Entry (Second Year)

Passed Minimum 03 years or 02 years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in any branch of Engineering and Technology (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy and Architecture) from the institution located in UP and recognized by BTEUP.

OR

Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.

Candidate must have passed (with/without grace) the intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with compulsory subjects (Physics & Mathematics) and one of the optional subjects (Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject) and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
