All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination from a Board recognized or established by the Central/State Government through legislation and a member of the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi with Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship should have obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).
OR
Those candidates who have passed a minimum 03 years Diploma examination from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET), or any such examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
(The institute will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the program.)
The candidates who have passed two years certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET) shall be eligible.
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST* or JEE Main. or CUET.
For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject.
