Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
The Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 45 % marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission to the B.Tech Course.
The marks as shown in the mark list of the Board of Examination obtained from the respective Higher Secondary Board shall be considered for academic eligibility.In the case of SC/ST candidates only a pass in the Higher Secondary examination (Class XII) with the above subjects. The candidates shall also satisfy the conditions regarding physical fitness as may be prescribed by the University.
