Candidates qualified in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (JEE.) and 10+2 examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other approved board /university of India with 45% marks and 40% for SC/ST in combination of subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, are eligible for applying to this course.
Admission of Lateral Entry students - D. Pharmacy students interested in B.Pharm course has to appear in West Bengal Joint Entrance Lateral Entry Test (JELET)
JELET Appeared candidate can directly contact with the Institute for admission.
A candidate who wishes to pursue a higher course in Pharmacy with a D. Pharm. qualification is eligible to take admission in the B. Pharm. course through lateral entry (JELET) (conducted by WBJEEB). The B. Pharm. lateral entry helps the candidates to take direct admission to the B. Pharm. course in the second year. Such candidates can be turned into Pharmacy Graduates with three years of further studies. If a candidate wants to get admitted to the 2nd year of B. Pharm. (i.e. lateral entry), he must have passed D. Pharm. from a PCI-approved Institute. The candidates should have secured at least 60% marks in their three-years diploma program.
