Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate of English and three Subjects from amongst Accountancy, Arabic, Banking, Biology, Biotechnology, Business Organization, Business Studies, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Education, English, Fine Arts, Geography, Hindi, History, Home Science, Islamic Studies, Mathematics, Persian, Philosophy, Physical Health Education, Physics, Political Science/Civics, Psychology, Sanskrit, Sociology, Statistics, Urdu and Modern Indian Languages (Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi and Kashmiri).

OR

Degree/Sanad from recognized Madarsa/Institution with at least 50% marks (as given in Table IX).

OR

Bridge Course (for Graduates of Deeni Madaris) from AMU with at least 50% marks.

Note: Candidates shall be eligible for admission to B.A.(Hons.) with Arabic as Main Subject only if they have studied the language at the SSSC level.

For Non Sponsored: Class XII with English (min. 70%)
For Sponsored: Class XII with English (min. 60% )

Aggregate percentage will be calculated on the basis of marks scored in English and three academic subjects. (excluding Physical Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts or any other Vocational /Non-Written subjects).Student should have passed all the subjects of class XII from a recognized board.
