For Government Quota

• NEET Qualified
• Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission, or should complete that age
• age on or before 31st December of that year.
• Candidates should be a Native of Tamil Nadu.

• Candidates should be a Native of Tamil Nadu. 
• Candidates belonging to the Native of Tamil Nadu and having studied from Standard VI to Standard XII in schools of Tamil Nadu need not submit their “Nativity Certificate”. 
• However, such candidates should produce the true copies of their parents’ certificates, such as Birth Certificate, Ration Card, SSLC/10th/ 12th/ Degree/Diploma/ Professional course. In CA, parents are not literate, then no Graduation Certificate for parents, from the Revenue Authority of the competent jurisdiction, to substantiate their parents’ place of birth in Tamil Nadu, and also a Parents’ Community Certificate to claim the communal reservation. If the candidates do not submit the above-mentioned certificates, then they will be considered under the Open Category only. 
• Candidates belonging to other States who are residing in Tamil Nadu cannot claim nativity of Tamil Nadu, a nd they will be considered undethe r Open Category. 
• The other State candidates who are not natives of Tamil Nadu and have studied from Standard VI to XII in Tamil Nadu will be considered under the Open Category.

For Management Quota 

• The NEET qualified Candidates should be citizens of India, and Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or should complete that age on or before 31st December of that year.
• The NEET qualified Candidates can be NRIs as per the prospectuses of the Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai, Tamil Nadu guidelines.

Candidates who have passed the two-year Pre-University Examination of Karnataka’s Pre-University Board (or equivalent qualifying examination of other recognized boards) with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects are eligible for admission to the first year. The candidate shall have obtained not less than 50% of the aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology has taken together, and a pass in the English language in the qualifying examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru (Bangalore), Karnataka. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) students or students of any other categories notified by the government shall be given a relaxation of 10% in the aggregate marks required for eligibility. The candidate shall have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete this age on 31st December of the calendar year in which he/she seeks admission.
