A person who has attained the age of 17 years on or before December 31 of the year of admission, and possesses one of the following qualifications, shall be eligible to join the first year of the course after qualifying the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test.
a) 10+2 examination of CBSE/PSEB, any examination of another University/Board/Council, recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent to the 10+2 with at least 50% (40% minimum marks required for SC/ST) marks in English, PCB (Botany and Zoology) as per regulations of DCI.
b) No entrance test is required for candidates living abroad and seeking admission against NRI seats. The Admission will be based on the merit of their qualifying examination, the equivalence certificate for which is issued by PU
c) Candidates desirous of seeking admission under the NRI category, who are presently in India, will be admitted based on merit in the entrance test.
d) Should be medically fit.
