The minimum qualification for admission is a 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Education or its equivalent with English as one of the compulsory subjects.
The age limit is 25 years for General and 28 years for SC / ST candidates as of 1st July. In the case of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years.
Candidates appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can appear in JEE to be considered on a provisional basis. Provisional admissions will stand canceled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted to the concerned Institute.
Candidate must have passed 12th Exam with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, in 10+2 system from a recognized board, either of any streams (Science/Arts/Commerce/ Vocational).
English should be one of the compulsory subject in 12th level and have passed the subject.
Age should not be more than 25 years for GEN/EWS/OBC and 28 years for SC/ST/PwD
