The minimum qualification for admission is a 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Education or its equivalent with English as one of the compulsory subjects.
The age limit is 25 Yrs for General/OBC and 28 Yrs for SC/ST candidates as of 1st July. In the case of Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribe candidates, the Upper Age limit is relaxed by 3 years.Candidates appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE being considered on a provisional basis. Provisional admissions will stand canceled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted to the Institute.
To get admission in this program, the candidates must have passed the 12th or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (best of 5 subjects) for General and OBC categories (and 40% marks for SC, ST, and PwD candidates).English is a compulsory subject in 12th level exam and passed in that subject.
