Pass in two-year PUC/Higher Secondary Exam from the Recognized Boards with English as one of the principal subjects of study and securing a minimum
50% marks in PCB/Biotechnology. (Incase of SC/ST and OBC it is 40%)

Age: 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission

• Two years P.U.C Examination conducted by the P.U.C Board, Karnataka State with English and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
• OR
• Intermediate Examination in the science of an Indian University Board or other recognized examining body with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, which shall include a practical test in three subjects and also English as a compulsory subject.
• OR
• The first year of the three-year degree course of a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology including a practical test in these subjects provided the examination is a 'University Examination.
• OR
• B.S.C Examination of an Indian University provided that he/she has passed the B.SC. examination with not less than two of the following subjects, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology), and further that he/she has passed the qualifying examination with the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
• OR
• Candidates must have obtained not less than 50% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination. In the case of scheduled caste and scheduled Tribe candidates, the minimum marks required for admission shall be 40%.
• The candidates should have completed 17 years on or before the 31st day of December of the year of admission.
