A candidate should have passed three years of bachelor's degree in any discipline (i.e., B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, B.tech, etc.) or equivalent recognized degree having secured 45 percent marks (5 percent relax for reserved category).

• Seeking admission into a 3-year law course, the qualifications needed are only 12th and a three-year graduation, with 12th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into a 3-year law course.
• The qualifications of 10th, 12th (+2), and graduation may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method).
• And the Pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for the SC/ST category.
