Hi Naveen!
For qualification to participate in counselling, you need to get 50th percentile in NEET. The minimum mark for this varies on the number of students appearing for the exam and how well they fare.
But in order to get a seat, the minimum mark and rank can be decided. It depends on how you and the other students have attempted the exam.
Hope this answers your question!

However to get a mbbs seat through all india quota counselling, in govt. Medical college/university you must score quite high (atleast 540+ marks) and be under top 6k rank ...
Study efficiently and revise and practise regularly.and dont run towards many books.
Good luck. Prepare well for your exam..
Dear Naveen,
There is nothing to called passing marks in NEET Exam. In NEET, it is qualifying marks rather which is 50th percentile for general category and 40th percentile for reserved categories. To stay on a safer side better to score 550+ especially for general category.
If you want to score good marks in NEET then just follow simple steps -
· Clear your basic concepts.
· Be thorough with NCERT textbook. It’s a must.
· Solve previous year question papers.
· Take mock tests to assess your progress.
· Solve questions from any reference book you prefer for competitive exams
· Solve as much as numerical possible.
· Use shortcuts to solve to save your time. Formulas to be at your Fingertips.
All the best.
On what score one will get a seat depends on which state you belong to.
Cut off score varies from State to state, depending upon no. Of medical college and competition for each seat.
For 15% All India quota seat ,
One must score above 590+ to get a seat in a good medical college as per the 2017 allotment. And then too, it depends whether you have to choose between a college from your own state or you can afford to go to other state.
Good luck
