ICT Mumbai Courses & Fees Structure 2025: Duration, Seats & Study Mode

Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai offers courses at the undergraduate level, postgraduate and doctoral level. M.Pharma	Rs 3.89 lakhs	Passed B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc/ Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with 60% aggregate or an equivalent CGPA + GPAT
M.Sc	Rs 1.15 lakhs	Passed Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc) in the relevant field with minimum 55% marks.
PG Diploma in Chemical Technology Management	-	Graduate from a recognised university.
Ph.D	-	Master's degree in the relevant field from any UGC recognised university with 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA).

Note: A 5% relaxation in minimum marks requirements in eligibility criteria is granted to students belonging to reserved categories.

College Infrastructure

The college has good facilities and infrastructure, providing a peaceful environment. The classrooms are neat and clean, and discipline is maintained. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, and the labs have updated systems. The library has plenty of books for peaceful reading. Hostel facilities are good, with quality food and a canteen available for day scholars. They conduct sports and games activities, and we have separate periods for sports.

The college is good.

Can I get ICT Mumbai at 97.9 percentile in jee mains...I am a general category female

At 97.9 percentile in JEE Mains, for a general category female, getting ICT Mumbai (Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai) is very difficult for the main branches like Chemical Engineering or Pharmaceuticals.

Here's why:

- ICT Mumbai mainly takes students through MHT-CET (Maharashtra state exam), not JEE Mains for most of its B.Tech seats.

- Only a very few seats (around 30-40) in Chemical Engineering are filled through JEE Mains, and the closing ranks are usually under 15,000 CRL (Common Rank List).

- At 97.9 percentile, your approximate CRL would be around 22,000–25,000 (rough estimate).

Summary:

- General category + JEE Mains admission + 97.9 percentile → chances for ICT Mumbai are very low.

- You might get ICT's newer courses or B.Chem Engg at Marathwada campus (Jalna) if open.

For DAIICT Gandhinagar's ICT branch in 2024, OBC students from Gujarat (Home State) needed a JEE Main rank around 515 or better to get admission. This rank is based on the Common Rank List (CRL). The cutoff changes every year depending on the number of applicants, difficulty of the exam, and seat availability. So, it's always good to aim for a much better rank to stay on the safe side for top branches like ICT at DAIICT.
