For lateral entry in SLIET, admission can be taken after completing a diploma course. For lateral entry, no exam is required . However, as per the admission policy, admission is given through vertical promotion.

• The diploma course should be in engineering specialization.
• After completing the diploma course, admission can be taken in B.Tech through lateral entry.
