Our college has been established in 1989 and the infrastructure is getting better day by day. From professors to students all are very cooperative here and always ready to support the needy ones. The canteen food is hygienic and living spaces are clean.
I am a 2nd year student pursuing electronics and Instrumentation engineering. Our teachers explain the topics in a clear way and are very supportive and friendly towards students.Yes , the curriculum is updated.
Good placement record till date.Top MNCs visit the university with decent packages ranging from 3-7 lpa.Several mock interviews and coding contests are conducted through which students get ready for the recruitment process.
Hygienic place except washrooms. Academic buildings are functional and provide classrooms and lecture halls for conducting regular academic sessions. Different sports playgrounds are good and maintained .
The academics are good and here the curriculum is designed well but the thing is that the faculties either they are not so much professional or they have been assigned with the unimportant stuff that they are not able to focus totally.
Placements are very good here but companies never ever come for biomedical branch. I have some internships done but I don't know how to get a job. The college is not supportive at all in this case as they are supporting higher branches.
Our college has department building according to branches except ece. The departments are divided differently, each department having their own resources and things. Nature is all over the place with trees around the college.
We have extra classes taken by professor so as to impart extra knowledge by them. They always guide the students in career development. Curriculum gets updated sem by sem and new subjects are introduced too.
Due to recession period there are less companies coming this year almost a downfall of number by 100. So we do not know how will this placement season go or if it can be as efficient as last placement seasons.
Campus is full of various facilities like sports, music, parks, etc.College classrooms and labs are clean and newly constructed.Hostel rooms and washrooms are regularly cleaned . WiFi facility is available here.
The books provided by the college help us to gain the indepth knowledge of the syllabus. Some teachers are not good as you won't understand their lectures.Professors do have knowledge but are not able to convey properly.
Placements are around 80-90% in IT department with average package of 3-4 lpa in companies like TCS, Infosys, Persistent solution, etc. Many companies come and provide us internship ,placements in various fields.
This College is a great place for engineering and is one of the best government college. It has a good infrastructure. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, making it easy for us students to access online resources at ease.
The academic programs here are designed to provide students with a strong foundation in theoretical and practical aspects. Academics is important but with that other activities is also important which the college held everytime.
The placement quality is good. Companies like cognizant, oracle, aspect ratio etc come for recruitment.A good number of students get placed in companies that offer decent salaries and growth prospects.
The infrastructure is awesome. However it needs some changes somewhere. No proper seating arrangement is there. Sometimes we are not able to find the rooms to sit. There are both boys and girls hostel ,with a mess offered in the hostel.
Teachers are well educated and help students in every aspects. But the College overloads us with assignments and manuals. We don't get much time to do self study. Our curriculum is up to date and has all recent developments.
Our college have good placement record.70-80% of students get placed every year in big MNCs like Oracle, Asian paints etc.The average placement ranges between 6.5 lakh to 7.5 lakh annually. The college supports the students in the placement process.
The two new departments are good but in rest of the departments, the structure is degraded all angle and the maintenance of the infrastructure is not maintained till date college. Wifi and smartboards are present.
Teachers are literal professionals they will give answer to whichever question you ask. The curriculum gets updated little by little. Subjects are introduced. To some extent what we study does make us job ready.
College is supportive but biased. I get the benefits so I cannot say bad but low branches are not included in placements so it is supportive for higher branches. The average salary is 11-12 lakhs per annum.
All the basic necessities are there but only the basics, you cannot expect more. Every branch has different department except ece and they are not renovated still. The new department are only good because they are new.
I did study here mechanical engineering because i got it. The quality of teaching is only good in higher branches not in lower branches like us where they don't even pay us enough attention. It does not make us job ready.
Least to none is the number of placements coming for our branch. Only higher branches get placements not us. The average salary was I think 9-10 lakhs per annum and the highest got to 30 lakhs per annum.
The college infrastructure is very good. There are around 10-12 classrooms on every floor.Labs are well equipped with necessary equipment. The canteen food is delicious but a bit costly. The living spaces are clean.
I am a 4th year student pursuing computer science and engineering. The quality of education at the college is good with some very knowledgeable teachers. Workshops and guest lectures are organised to ensure industry readiness of students.
Quality of placement is increasing day by day,in last few years there is a increase in the % of placements.Top companies such as Infosys, cognizant, Wipro etc visit our campus for placements. The recruitment process is easy and pleasant here.
We are having a large campus which is full of greenery all around. Other than studies there are park, basketball court, sports ground and a beautiful auditorium present in the campus.Canteen is a bit costly but library is nice.
I am a 4th year student pursuing industrial and production engineering. The faculty members here are not only teachers but also mentors , and guides, providing support to us students.Curriculum is updated but our director isn't friendly at all.
The placements in my college is good . Every year 70-80 % students are placed at the best companies. The Companies like Vedantu, TCS, NRL and various other tech and core companies visit here for the recruitment process.
Based on your JEE Main 2025 rank of 3,41,581 in the OBC category under the home state quota, securing admission to (SGSITS), Indore, may be challenging.
Your rank of 3,41,581 is significantly higher than the closing ranks for most branches in the OBC category in previous years.
With a 79.7 percentile and GEN-EWS category, you can likely gain admission to lower-demand branches at SGSITS Indore, assuming you have a Madhya Pradesh domicile. Highly sought-after branches like Computer Science and IT may be difficult to secure with this percentile. Lower-demand branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Production Engineering may be more accessible due to the home state quota and EWS reservation.
Percentile to Rank:
A 79.7 percentile in JEE Main typically translates to a Common Rank List (CRL) rank between 160,000 and 250,000.
SGSITS Indore Cutoff Trends:
Based on previous years' data, the closing ranks for EWS candidates at SGSITS Indore vary depending on the branch.
EWS and Home State Quota:
EWS and home state quotas can significantly improve your chances of securing a seat, especially in branches with lower demand.
Branch Preferences:
You should prioritize branches with potentially lower cutoffs, such as Civil, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.
Competitive Branches:
Highly competitive branches like Computer Science and IT will likely require a higher percentile and/or rank.
Counselling and Seat Allotment:
The final seat allotment will depend on your rank, category, branch preference, and available seats.
With a JEE Main rank of 5,28,143 in the ST category (home state), it is unlikely that you will be able to secure admission in popular branches such as Computer Science, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering at SGSITS Indore. You may be considered for lower-demand branches, depending on their cutoff trends. However, it is advisable to check the official counseling details for accurate and updated information.
