The college infrastructure have all the necessary facilities and equipments.The classroms and laboratories are good .The campus is wifi enabled but is very poor and the overall hygiene is really good.
The quality of teaching is moderate. Teachers have vast knowledge of their subject and try to provide them all to their students..The quality of education is good, all the reading materials ,books are timely provided.
The quality of placements we get through this college is good. Highest package is near about 32lakh.The average salary is 6 lpa. The college is supportive in the placements.Around 60% of students are placed in the last year.
Our department building is new and very pretty and modern inside and out. The classrooms and lecture halls are made efficiently taking students in consideration and we have lift too which does not let us get late.
Academics of this college at least in my branch is excellent. There are many electives which are the modern day technologies required for job selection. The curriculum is updated in introduction of new subjects but the syllabus is not that much updated.
The placements are really nice but the training and placement cell of our college gets unwanted benefit. They do not want other children to sit in placements. The average salary is almost 9-10 lakhs with highest as much as 40.
Our campus has a pleasant atmosphere with nature all around. The hostels are not that far which makes it easy for students to reach their classes on time. We have various facilities which are necessary.

Modern infrastructure which is efficient for people sitting in the back too but still this building is only used for some of the branches not all because those branches have their department building.
I have gone for information technology branch because it is similar to computer science and there are many opportunities to pursue which our college provides us to make ourselves better for the future job recruitments.
Being an information technology student I can say that this branch gives us many top class opportunities too because many companies come for placements for students from our branch. They are as low as 2 lakhs to as high as 30-40 lakhs.
SGSITS has a good location which is near to railway station, bus stand, market places and pg rooms. Hostel facilities are also available and size of classrooms depends upon how much that building is old.
As a student of electrical branch I can say the academics of SGSITS is very good at least in my branch. The professors are very supportive and you can ask them about the projects outside of the curriculum too.
