College have all the necessary infrastructure,facilities and equipment.Our college has a sports facility, and all of the grounds have been maintained properly.WiFi is available all over the campus. Hostels are neat and clean.
I am a 4th year student pursuing information and technology engineering.Teachers helps us to do practicals and encourage to give us presentations on covered topics to help us know better.The curriculum is updated and helpful for the students.
Placement is average of the college. Around 60% students get placed.The companies like jio, amazon,IBM etc are hiring the students.The highest salary package offered is 40lpa and the lowest salary packages offered is 10lpa.
Modern infrastructure which is efficient for people sitting in the back too but still this building is only used for some of the branches not all because those branches have their department building.
I have gone for information technology branch because it is similar to computer science and there are many opportunities to pursue which our college provides us to make ourselves better for the future job recruitments.
Being an information technology student I can say that this branch gives us many top class opportunities too because many companies come for placements for students from our branch. They are as low as 2 lakhs to as high as 30-40 lakhs.
SGSITS has a good location which is near to railway station, bus stand, market places and pg rooms. Hostel facilities are also available and size of classrooms depends upon how much that building is old.
As a student of electrical branch I can say the academics of SGSITS is very good at least in my branch. The professors are very supportive and you can ask them about the projects outside of the curriculum too.
The placements are average and the average package of SGSITS is 10 lakhs. The highest salary has gone upto 40 lakhs. Core companies do come but they are less in numbers because we do not have students who want to pursue core.
The infrastructure of the college plays a vital role in the development as the students here are now focusing on the labs, class rooms, etc.A very good green environment is maintained in the surroundings ,making a peaceful place to study and relax.
All the faculties members of the college are supportive in nature.Some lecturers are very good with a lot of experience.The recent developments in the field and curriculum definitely makes us job ready.
The placements in our college are not too good and not too bad. The average salary is around 7 lpa,and the highest being 39lpa from cse branch.Once a student complete an internship program he/she instantly gets a PPO from the company.

I have seen many changes in clg which makes me believe that the College has improved a lot in terms of infrastructure but it needs to improve more because washrooms are smelly. There are lifts too installed.

It is an autonomous college which has an acceptable infrastructure. SGSITS has available facilities with no less no more. Air conditioned laboratories are there and smart classrooms are there. Sports grounds are there.
