I pursued Bachelor Degree in Information technology stream just because of my curiosity and interest in this field. Our curriculum is not so updated as per my belief ,I hope it will be soon so that it could be of some use to the students .
An average of 80% students get placed from our college last year. The average package is around 9-10lpa and the highest is approx 40lakh from CSE branch. But the placement process is very much complicated and the average students like us can't crack through it.
Our College has all the required equipments decent infrastructure. Sports centres are well maintained and are used regularly. The labs are well equipped with the latest tools and technology for the practicals.
Currently a 4th year student pursuing electronics and telecommunication engineering.Teachers are friendly and helping in nature. They deliver amazing lectures but the minus point is that the classes always start late in time.
For campus Placements several companies come to our college every year like TCS,Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte etc .The average package offered is more than 8lpa. The overall placement percentage is around 90%.
No our college doesn't have all necessary infrastructure. The laboratories need new items and we don't have our own department. There is a common library that is available for all branches. Only washrooms are not clean.
I am studying electronics and telecommunication because I got that branch and I thought I can enhance coding skills. Yes, it builds our logic and if we have to prepare for gate it is very enough for us.
Quality of placements is very nice as it is almost 90% as people say but this year we will see. The topmost salary last year went to our branch. The college is supportive towards tnp cell not us if you are in tnp you get everything.
A good infrastructure but the fees they charge is also high. There is wifi facility available in the classes but it works too slow which results into no use to us. There are sports centers are also available for students to engage in physical activities.
I am pursuing Electrical Engineering as a 2nd year student . The quality of teaching is impressive. The faculty members are knowledgeable and experienced. The curriculum is also updated with accordance to recent developments.
In placements our college is quite supportive to all the students irrespective of their branches ,a lot of companies come to our campus to hire the students. They are very well reputed companies and are from various sectors.
I don't think so as our building is very old and laboratories lack equipment. For sports we have various playgrounds and there is a common library that is well maintained. The living spaces are also well maintained.
I am studying industrial production and the quality of teaching is not good according to me. The curriculum is not updated I guess .No what we study doesn't make us job ready we have to prepare for gate.
Placement quality is very nice but our branch students have to prepare for gate to Ace at jobs and get a good salary. The college is supportive I can say that but only the registration process is not supportive.
Our college has all the necessary equipment and infrastructure. We have well maintained laboratories and a common library. We have smart boards too which teachers use to enhance learning. WiFi is available too but of limited bandwidth.
I am studying computers. The quality of teaching is great and they focus on important topics and want us to learn career related details. The current curriculum is updated in theory but not in practical.
Placement session has come we will come to know if our placement are the same as our seniors because they got the placements easily. Average salary offered is also great. The college is really supportive.
College infrastructure requires proper servicing and updating. Wifi doesn't work properly sometimes.More washrooms for girls should be installed. The College library is amazing though ,it consists of a vast collection of books, journals to support academic research and self-study.
The college organizes workshops, seminars, and training sessions on technical skills, soft skills, and industry-specific knowledge. These programs for ensuring that students are well-prepared for their future careers.
The quality of placements is good in our college, almost 90% of the students getting placed every year. There are many reputed companies who come for recruitment such as Byju's , TCS and other MNCs too.
The campus is magnificent and well maintained. It is provided with many facilities such as stationary shop, gym, library with wifi facility in it,big grounds for sports activities etc. College also has its cafeteria which offers food at affordable prices.
Currently I am pursuing my btech final year from information technology stream. The teachers are qualified and are good at their subjects, they are helping in nature. The curriculum is also updated timely.
The quality of placement is really good. A lot of students were placed in the college with average salary package. Around 70-80% students are placed every year.Highest package went to CSE which was around 40 lpa.
The college has all the necessary facilities just our department building needs a bit of renovation and the laboratories need new equipments. The living spaces are hygienic and we have got a common library.
Academics of our branch is not up to the mark. The teachers slack in teaching and race the syllabus at the end of the sem. We try to keep up witht he attendence but mostly fall short because teachers don't come.
Placement procedure is nice but the registration is a bit complicated. The top three branches students always get recruitment but from our branch students mostly go for gate preparation. College is not supportive.
Yes, our college has necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. We have ac in staff rooms and labs. There is a Library which is common and one in electrical department. Yes they are well maintained.
I am studying computer science and I like coding. The quality of teaching is excellent and we get internships from college too. The curriculum is not so updated but still we always have to study extra.
Placement quality of computer science branch is very good and they say we will get placed too. Our branch students get all placed and we get an average package of 8 lakhs. Topmost salary mostly goes to ece branch.
Based on your JEE Main 2025 rank of 3,41,581 in the OBC category under the home state quota, securing admission to (SGSITS), Indore, may be challenging.
Your rank of 3,41,581 is significantly higher than the closing ranks for most branches in the OBC category in previous years.
With a 79.7 percentile and GEN-EWS category, you can likely gain admission to lower-demand branches at SGSITS Indore, assuming you have a Madhya Pradesh domicile. Highly sought-after branches like Computer Science and IT may be difficult to secure with this percentile. Lower-demand branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Production Engineering may be more accessible due to the home state quota and EWS reservation.
Percentile to Rank:
A 79.7 percentile in JEE Main typically translates to a Common Rank List (CRL) rank between 160,000 and 250,000.
SGSITS Indore Cutoff Trends:
Based on previous years' data, the closing ranks for EWS candidates at SGSITS Indore vary depending on the branch.
EWS and Home State Quota:
EWS and home state quotas can significantly improve your chances of securing a seat, especially in branches with lower demand.
Branch Preferences:
You should prioritize branches with potentially lower cutoffs, such as Civil, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.
Competitive Branches:
Highly competitive branches like Computer Science and IT will likely require a higher percentile and/or rank.
Counselling and Seat Allotment:
The final seat allotment will depend on your rank, category, branch preference, and available seats.
With a JEE Main rank of 5,28,143 in the ST category (home state), it is unlikely that you will be able to secure admission in popular branches such as Computer Science, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering at SGSITS Indore. You may be considered for lower-demand branches, depending on their cutoff trends. However, it is advisable to check the official counseling details for accurate and updated information.
