Admissions are based on securing a rank in the LAWCET qualifying exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination from the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, or any recognized equivalent board.
General candidates need to achieve 45% aggregate marks in group subjects and languages.
SC/ST candidates must obtain 40% aggregate marks in group subjects and languages.
Candidates must qualify in the LAWCET conducted for that academic year.

Seeking admission into a 5-year law course, only the 10th and 12th qualification suffices, with the 10th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into the 5-year law course.

The qualifications for 10th and 12th may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method).

The Pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for the SC/ST category.
